I am somewhat of an introvert and even an agoraphobic. So a sales job or career has never really appealed to me. When I was a teenager, my friend's older brother got into insurance sales and was trained well by his mentor. Years later, I took a webmaster position at a telemarketing firm which surrounded me with sales pros and I learned a lot about selling as a result. This sounds good, but like the investors of the Shark Tank TV show say, I'm out.
I am not quite sure what this Pimerica opportunity is exactly. Is It a work from home job? Is it an insurance selling job in the form of multi level marketing? And when you recruit persons to join your income umbrella, what are you actually selling? Clearly, I have lots of questions which I am sure many other people are probably wondering as well. It would be really nice if we could see an instructional video.
I am right there with Sally, I am an introvert as well so a sales job is not for me. My husband went to a seminar for Primerica back when they were first getting off the ground and we discovered then that it wasn't something for us. They promised you could make lots of money but you had to recruit people under you to sell as well to get shares of their profit.
I am not exactly a fan of multi level marketing, but that does not mean that this couldn't be a lucrative opportunity. The majority of time It is the unfamiliarity with a business opportunity or vocation that is at the source of a person's disinterest. Often times, when a person is shown the more intricate aspects of a program like this, they can come to the realization that it is easier than they once thought.
